How to Become an
Exhibitor
The Bella Vista Arts & Crafts Festival is gaining a
reputation for being one of the best shows in the nation for artists
and craftspeople who make their own goods. The staff is
dedicated to keeping the Festival a great place for exhibitors to
show their wares, and for visitors to be able to purchase good
original hand-made items.
Prospective exhibitors must file an application along with
pictures of their goods and booth. An artist’s statement
telling why and how items are made, a return envelope and proper
fees must accompany the application. Each application is reviewed by
a jury and upon acceptance the exhibitor will be assigned a space.
Each exhibitor is again juried on site. No buy-resale items
will be allowed. If buy-resale items are found, the exhibitor
may be removed from the site and will not be allowed to enter our Festival
again.
In 2008, all pictures must be digital
submission on disc. (Pictures will not be accepted by e-mail.)
Pictures are expected to be good quality close-ups of one or two
pieces only per photo, with three different samples of work
submitted.
Deadline for applications is July 31, OR WHEN FULL. Last
minute submissions must meet the same standards as submissions
earlier in the year. Late submissions may not appear in the
printed Festival program due to time constraints.
Returning exhibitors who turn in next year's application and correct
fees before the end of the current Festival are guaranteed their current
booth, OR AN UPGRADE if requested. Acceptance is not guaranteed:
each exhibitor’s acceptance is still dependant upon quality products with
no buy-resale items in their booth.
Food vendors should contact the Festival office for an application.
